The Highland Condominium of Salem is a townhome community nestled on over 21 acres of lush landscaping, containing 140 units. There are two models available – the Ridgewood styled unit and the Hillview styled unit, both containing just under 2000 square feet of living space. The Highland Condominium was first marketed in 1987 and the community was constructed in phases over several years, with the final phase being constructed in 1994. The Highland neighborhood is a neighborhood community of residents who for the most part love living in the community. Residents have access to a pool located at the end of Indian Hill Lane and it is a great community to go walking.
The Hillview is a 3 story contemporary townhome with open floor plan featuring a first floor with kitchen, dining room, half bath and living room that boast access to a private patio with plush landscaping plus a one car attached garage. The second floor offers a master bedroom with a suite master bath and walk-in closet; second bedroom, full bath and convenient washer/dryer access. The third floor loft features a vaulted ceiling, skylights and wood burning fireplace, which can be used as a third bedroom, office or home gym.
The Ridgewood styled unit is a 2 ½ story townhome similar to a split entry home and features a ground level family room with sliding glass door giving access to a private rear yard, plus a half bathroom with access to a one car garage. The main living area features an eat-in kitchen with two windows over the sink and the fully applianced kitchen has a separate area dining area or breakfast bar. Off the kitchen is the 27’x19’ living/ dining room with wood-burning fireplace that has an oversized sliding glass door that leads out to a balcony. The two bedrooms, which have great closet space and two bathrooms, are located on the upper level which features the laundry room and access to storage space in the attic.
